We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Second Annual CrossFit Anaheim Turkey Trot at Angel Stadium is officially returning, promising an even bigger and bolder challenge for the post-holiday weekend! Please mark your calendars for Saturday, November 29, 2025.
A Turkey Trot with a Twist
Forget the ordinary road race! Our WODsgiving Turkey Trot is a unique fitness event that combines a 5K race with five integrated CrossFit movement stations.
Racers can run in 1 of 3 divisions: Individual, Pair (2), or “Flock” (3–5 racers).
The New Race Format: Run, WOD, and Repeat!
We’re kicking off the Second Annual CrossFit Anaheim Turkey Trot with wave starts to create a high-energy, focused experience.
- Athletes and teams start in waves of 10–15 racers.
- They’ll run the perimeter of Angel Stadium Parking Lot, then tackle their first of five CrossFit movement stations (exercises like rowing, burpees, box step-ups).
For Pairs and Flocks (Teams 3–5), the course uses a tag in/out format:
- One racer starts the run and completes the first workout station, then tags their partner/teammate.
- This continues until all five laps and five stations are complete.
Get ready for the ultimate fitness challenge: RUN, WOD, RUN, WOD, RUN, WOD, RUN, WOD, RUN, WOD. AND TIME!
Making a Meaningful Impact: Local Heroes for Families in Need
The mission goes beyond fitness — it’s about community impact.
- The WODsgiving Turkey Trot creates “local heroes” to fundraise for families in need.
- This year’s support is directed to families of students at Anaheim High School and South Junior High School.
- Goal: Help 200+ Anaheim families with a fundraising target of $50,000+ for direct financial support.
- Every entry fee pairs a runner with a family to fulfill their holiday wishes.
How to Join the Flock
Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or simply looking for a memorable holiday tradition, join us!
- What: A 5K race with 5 integrated CrossFit movement stations.
- When: Saturday, November 29, 2025 (Event Start Time 7:00 AM; First Wave 7:30 AM)
- Where: Angel Stadium Parking Lot (2000 E Gene Autry Way, Anaheim, CA 92806)
